This BBQ recipe combines the rich flavor of dark beer with the smokiness of paprika and a touch of heat from cayenne pepper. The use of cowboy boots adds a fun and adventurous twist to the cooking experience, bringing a bit of wild west charm to your backyard BBQ.

Ingredients:

  • 4 lbs beef brisket, trimmed
  • 1 bottle 12 oz dark beer
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 pairs of cowboy boots

Instructions:

Warm up the grill over medium-high heat

To make the marinade, put dark beer, BBQ sauce, bacon bits, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in a bowl

Cut the beef brisket into pieces and put it in a large dish

Pour half of the marinade over the meat

It should be in the fridge for at least two hours, but ideally overnight

Take the brisket out of the fridge and let it warm up in the room

Cover the brisket with olive oil by rubbing it all over

After marinating the brisket, put it on a hot grill and sear each side for 5 minutes

Lower the heat to medium-low, use the rest of the marinade to baste the brisket, and then cover the grill

Turn the meat over every so often for 4 to 5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 190F 88C and it is tender

Put on your cowboy boots and get into the BBQ spirit while the brisket is cooking

After cooking, let the brisket rest for 15 minutes

Then, cut it across the grain

Enjoy the Beer & Boots BBQ Delight with your favorite sides
